URGENT - Members Spring Show Date Change
Textures & Patterns is the theme of the ASOG Members Juried Show, Flinn Gallery in July.
Kwame Henry Jones whose artwork was displayed recently at the YWCA has a joyous approach which we can benefit from. As an artist and musician, he strongly expresses his African American identity. His artwork utilizes texture and patterns as well as bold color. ASOG members will get some new ideas from his talk. He is a graduate of Williams College '89 and a member of Stamford Loft Artists. He has been a consultant to the Academy of Architecture and Engineering in Stamford.
One perfect artwork worth $100 just for use of the image!! In June, the Chairman of the Sidewalk Art Show, to be the ASOG FINE ARTS SHOW & SALE in 2010, sends out an appeal to merchants and corporations requesting donations for awards to winning artists. This goes by mail and contains a "gift print" 8.5" x 10.5" of an artwork in thanks for previous donations. ASOG is searching for just the right artwork. It must be a scene identifiable as the Greenwich/ Old Greenwich area. Submit in color at Email size to or as photo to John Tatge, 100 Hendrie Ave, Riverside, CT 06878. Include title, your name, phone and Email address by May 1st, 2010. ASOG phone: 203-637-9949 Top |
